CASA VIS was born from a desire to create a welcoming, authentic retreat at the foot of the hills of Mășcăuți.
Carefully designed, the villa combines natural stone and a traditional thatched roof with modern comfort. The landscape becomes part of every morning.
The Romanian word vis means “dream”. CASA VIS captures that feeling in a peaceful, nature-filled escape designed for memorable moments.

For guests who love nature and being active outdoors, we organize hikes along some of the most beautiful routes in the area. We will explore forests, hills and peaceful paths leading to panoramic viewpoints, where broad views open across the valleys and surrounding villages. These are perfect places to pause, take photographs and enjoy an unforgettable sunset.

Underground gallery visits
Just a short distance from the guesthouse lie old stone quarries where rock was extracted for decades. These workings left behind long, branching underground galleries carved directly into the rock, creating a hidden world beneath the ground.
We invite you to explore these stone corridors, where you can see tool marks on the walls, spacious chambers and tunnels disappearing into the darkness. It is an unusual experience for curious travelers, history and adventure enthusiasts, and families looking for something different from an ordinary walk.
This is an optional experience, organized on request. Let us know in advance, and we will take care of the arrangements.

Yes. Birthday gatherings and corporate events require prior approval. Guest numbers and conditions are agreed before arrival.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are generally not allowed. Please contact the host in advance for exceptional circumstances.
Is there CCTV on the property?
Yes, in certain outdoor areas such as the entrance, parking area and courtyard. There are no cameras in bedrooms, bathrooms or the sauna.
Does submitting the form confirm my booking?
No. It prepares a WhatsApp enquiry. The host will confirm availability, pricing and terms separately. The website does not collect payments.
